Job Introduction

Maximus is looking for an Operational Manger to join our team in either the Brownsville, TX  Maximus location.  The position is responsible for developing Supervisors and Customer Service Representatives, enforcing program goals, validating the accuracy of program records, and communicating with senior leadership regarding site metrics and service level agreements (SLA). 

 

Must be able to work on site at Maximus- Brownsville, Texas location.  Will be scheduled to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7am-7pm Monday-Friday.

 

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensure project compliance with all operational requirements of the contract as well as corporate policies.- Manage Customer Service and Outreach Programs.- Manage direct reports and the cost- effective operation of all project tasks.- Supervise subcontractors that provide services to program.- Oversee audits of operations.- Produce monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) report for client, as well as ad hoc reporting.- Collaborate with other Managers to ensure effective coordination of activities.- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in collaboration with other key stakeholders.- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and other external entities.- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve service levels and overall operation efficiency.- Supervise the project’s quality assurance and training programs as well as corrective actions to ensure compliance.- Monitor performance against key indicators established internally or by the clients.- Generate solutions to issues or complex problems.- Develop performance goals and objectives for staff, and monitor achievement of those goals.- Perform other duties as may be assigned.Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.  - Minimum 3 years of management experience, 5 years of related experience.- Able to manage large-scale operations, including single or multiple sites.- Proven ability with operational analyses, processes and performance indicators.- Capable of performing comfortably in a fast- paced, deadline-oriented work environment.- Strong client management skills.- Able to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.- Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills.- Capable of working as a team member as well as independently.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Provide oversight of all operational activities and ensure contractual and operational requirements are met or exceeded
  • Utilize knowledge and expertise across all aspects of the operational transactions to manage the up and downstream dependencies across departments
  • Manage operational performance and delivery; ensure staff meet productivity requirements and quality standards
  • Provide oversight of supervisory staff and ensure works assignments are issued timely
  • Develop performance goals and objectives for staff, and monitor achievement of those goals
  • Address performance issues and administer corrective actions as needed
  • Provides daily/weekly/monthly status reports on operational productivity and quality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination for transactional throughput
  • Maintains effective relationships with the customer
  • Oversees the development and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve service levels and overall operation efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree  - Minimum 3 years of management experience, managing transaction processing preferred

- Able to manage large-scale operations, including single or multiple sites- Proven ability and experience with performing operational analyses and process and performance management- Capable of working in a fast- paced, deadline-oriented work environment- Strong client management skills- Able to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously- Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required- Capable of working as a team member as well as independently.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
