LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Duties: hybrid role (2 days from home( Mondays and Fridays) once trained(training period is *4 weeks))
JOB PROFILE:
The Logistics Specialist will coordinate supply activities for assigned international product codes, from forecasting through the final distribution to ensure established Customer Service targets are met, and to support special requests from internal departments and 3rd party customers.
Prepare and process international orders through interdepartmental routings including Materials Management, Monitor status of orders in system to ensure their ultimate timely shipment through communications with internal departments.
Directs and coordinates the documentation, packaging, and distribution of all Export QA Testing samples for Biological and Pharmaceutical products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prefer experience in the transportation of dangerous goods under the appropriate national and international regulatory bodies. Produce a Dangerous Goods Declaration for export shipments as needed.
Demonstrate working knowledge of the logistics industry and export compliance framework.
Prefer work experience in Pharmaceutical/Biological manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of office and Warehouse facility requirements are necessary Reliable attendance is key to this position.
Education: High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience or Associates degree with 4 years of related experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
