Responsibilities
MaxLinear is seeking a hands-on, technical DFT Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage DFT team and responsibility for all DFT deliverables from Architecture definition to project execution and finally release SOC to production
- Develop DFT methodologies that reduce test cost, increase product quality, and enhance yield learning on leading edge process technologies
- Serve as DFT Lead with responsibility for schedule and implementation as well as verification of DFT techniques on System on Chip (SOC)
- Generate DFT pattern, perform coverage analysis, and debug RTL and gate level simulations
- Assist Test Engineers to bring up ATPG and MBIST pattern on the ATE
- Resolve issues during characterization and support product through volume production
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Fault modelling, Scan compression, Memory testing techniques
- Hands on experience on all aspects of DFT flow, including DC/AC scan, ATPG, JTAG/boundary SCAN, memory BIST, high speed interface test
- Understanding of the entire ASIC design flow; logic design, Verilog/VHDL verification, synthesis, timing, and backend
- Proven record of supporting a large volume of commercial SOC shipments
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively resolve issues
- Must be able to work autonomously and guide others based on changing priorities
- Proven ability to thrive on, learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related 9 years of experience, or MS 7 years of experience, or Ph.D. 4 years of experience
Compensation and Benefits
MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.
MaxLinear expects to offer a starting base salary within the range of: $125,600 to $195,040 Annually

The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.
