Job Description:

Job Title: SAP EWM Consultant

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid Onsite 3 days a week

Rate: $100/hr on W2, Based on experience

Top Skills: SAP EWM, TMS knowledge and integration into EWM is a plus

Responsibilities
Responsible for the design & solutioning for SAP S/4 HANA EWM ( Embedded system ). Capable of integrating with S/4 HANA & TMS.
Should be able to play a role of Techno Functional consultant for the project.
Formulates/Defines systems scope, objectives based on both user needs and through understanding of application systems/industry requirements.
Defines, tests, trains, implements, and supports one or more functional areas within the EWM System or other ERP application systems.
Solves highly complex problems within their work team.
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences.
Provide end-user training and support.
Develop and execute test plans for SAP EWM configurations.
Should propose standard EWM best practices to meet business requirements with no or limited customization.

Required Skills:
Requires 5 years of experience in configuring, deploying and managing EWM solutions with 3 end to end implementations on SAP S/4 HANA EWM.
o Should have worked in a high volume distribution centers handling diversified products ( Batch, Documentary batch and Serialized products )
o Possess solid knowledge in SAP EWM Mater Data integrations, Inbound, Outbound and Internal Movements warehouse
o The candidate should be a Techno Functional consultant with strong skill sets on ABAP/ Debugging/BAdI/Class/Objects.
o Hands on experience in configuring different features in SAP EWM listed below:
o Complex Storage Types, put away and Stock removal strategies configuration using BADI or custom solutions as applicable.
o Handling unit management for Inbound, internal movements and outbound processes
o Palletization, consolidation, deconsolidation using Handling Unit
o Wave Management including Wave templates
o Inbound and Outbound activities using optimized Warehouse order creation rules.
o Internal warehouse processes such as Replenishment, Cycle Counting, Physical Inventory and warehouse reorganization.
o Cross process settings, exception handling using custom solutions where applicable
o Good at Post Processing Framework for standard and custom definitions
o Queue Management on regular basis.
o RF mobile data entry, custom RF transactions on ITS mobile environment
o Having knowledge in other areas of EWM such as Slotting, Resource Management and Cross Docking.
o Experience integrating QIE to integrate SAP QM with SAP EWM inspection
o Worked in Cartonization and developing custom algorithm to optimize packing process.
o Good experience in managing master data includes Packaging specifications, Product Master, Bin Master etc..,
o Having knowledge in EWM Integration with ECC Logistics Execution and Inventory Management
o Candidate should have experience working with business to understand their requirements and propose system solutions using Standard / custom SAP EWM capabilities.
o Must have good communication skills and be able to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
o Preferred to have TMS Integration knowledge.
