Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Microservices Developer
Job Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Work Schedule: hybrid 1-2 days in office on SF
Pay Rate: $70 w2 Based on experience, Open to C2C candidates as well.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Microservices Developer to join our dynamic team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance applications using microservices architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for messaging and stream processing
- Develop responsive and interactive front-end applications using React
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create solutions
- Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices in coding
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in Java development with a focus on microservices
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Extensive experience with React for front-end development
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and stream processing
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in deploying and managing microservices on cloud infrastructure
