Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Product Manager – Structured Databases
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Location: San Jose, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid (number of days negotiable)
Salary: $180 - $210k, Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Able to manage 2-5 product lines.
- Partnering with Sales
- Customer collaboration is a big part of the job
- Partner with Engineering to develop and enhance solutions and launch them on a regular basis.
- Identify market opportunities, define solution vision and strategy.
- Engage with prospects and customers to discover underlying business drivers, identify challenges, devise solutions and demonstrate capabilities.
- Develop business cases and ROI projections, define release goals and prioritize features.
- Monitor relevant emerging industry trends and technologies and develop a keen understanding of the corresponding on-premise and cloud competitive landscape.
- Evangelize and drive adoption of solutions into multiple market segments leveraging various communication channels such as presentations, speak at industry forums, whitepapers, blogs, webinars, live demonstrations, etc.
- Work with sales and partners, be advocate of our solutions, and build a strong ecosystem for us.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Product Management – not Product Marketing
- Strong domain knowledge on software and hardware
- Knowledge and experience in some of the following:
- Datawarehouse
- Databases
- Business Intelligence
- ERP software
- SAP Hana
- MySQL
- MS SQL
- Understand how databases are sold and licensed
- Understand how to deploy and end-to end solution to customers
- Also need Knowledge and Experience in
- Network
- Storage
- GPU solutions
- Infrastructure
- Operating system
- Kubernetes
- Virtualization
- Storage
