Overview
MaxRewards is seeking a creative and organized Content Creator to join our team to assist with video ad production. In this role, you will contribute to the entire content production process, from concept to execution. Your responsibilities will include scouting locations, recruiting talent, setting up lighting, and filming high-quality video content. You will also collaborate closely with our Growth Lead to brainstorm, develop and film innovative ad ideas.

MaxRewards is a fintech platform that helps users maximize their credit card rewards, benefits, and offers automatically. Our app provides personalized recommendations on which cards to use for every purchase, tracks reward categories and sign-up bonuses, and automatically activates valuable credit card offers – all while helping users optimize their rewards across multiple cards. Think of it as a smart assistant that ensures you never miss out on the credit card benefits and rewards you're entitled to.
Responsibilities
Content Production
- Plan, organize, and execute video shoots, including location scouting, talent recruitment, and equipment setup (e.g., lighting, cameras)
- Film high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals
- Contribute to the editing process with the guidance of the Growth Lead
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Growth Lead to brainstorm, develop, and film engaging and creative ad concepts
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure content aligns with marketing campaigns and objectives
Problem-Solving & Organization
- Proactively address challenges in the production process, from finding last-minute talent to troubleshooting technical issues
- Maintain organized schedules for filming and ensure deadlines are met
Preferred
- Edit video content to enhance storytelling and presentation when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content creation, especially video production and ad creation
- Comfortable with speaking on camera, memorizing scripts, and appearing in video ads
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members, actors, and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with filming on phone, lighting setup, and basic filming techniques
- Creative mindset with an eye for compelling visuals and storytelling
- Based in Atlanta, Georgia, and available to work from our Midtown office at least three days a week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Knowledge of current trends in digital content and social media platforms
- Interest in credit cards, finance and tech
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation will be $35-$40/hr, based on skillset and experience
