Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Communicate with Supervisor and / or Production Manager about any issues involving shorts for same day PO's.
Perform freezer walk-throughs and confirm or adjust current inventory numbers.
Perform freezer walk-throughs, check temperatures, and report issues immediately.
Maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Wraps goods in shipping boxes / pallets.
Ensures all orders are filled correctly.
Keep boxes and pallets in organized areas of freezers to avoid clutter, lost inventory, and inefficiencies.
Update inventory and pallet sheet data into inventory management software.
Complete pallet orders based on scheduled PO's making sure to include the correct label and sticker dates that the PO is to be shipped.
Product should be assigned to PO's using the "FIFO" (first in, first out) process.
Refill boxes and all shipping / receiving supplies in packing department.
Fill out daily report and be sure to include : bread quality issues, damaged cases, shorts, miss-labels, equipment issues & wish lists.
Assist in performing monthly inventory.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
Utilize tools and equipment as needed to perform duties.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and SDS Standards.
Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms and required to talk and hear, the employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull for over 8 hours, the employee is required to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to withstand various weather and temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.

Requisite Skills / Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent

Previous Experience, Certificates, License and Skills : 1 year warehouse experience, 1 year Forklift experience (in house forklift certification training)

Ability to read and write English; bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus.

Ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Ability to follow simple instructions and rules.

Self-starter, self-motivated and able to think on their feet.

Ability to work under a timeline and meet timeline deadlines.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Knowledge and understanding of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Good hygiene and cleanliness.

Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled hours.

Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
