What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at MAXT Makerspace?
1. Bookkeeping
Maintain Accounting on Quickbooks Online for MAXT Makerspace, including booking all transactions; providing monthly and annual reports in a timely manner; preparing documentation for tax returns.
2. Payments and receivables
Pay bills and deposit checks on a weekly basis. Accounts receivable management.
3. Document management
Manage MAXT documentation for operations, membership and programming including contracts, leases, waivers, policies, and procedures.
4. List management
Maintain MAXTs contact lists for membership, fundraising and mailings.
5. Fundraising support
Maintain donor management system and insuring it is reconciled with Quickbooks. Assist in campaign mailings and other communications. Assist in compiling documentation for grant proposals and reporting.
Minimum qualifications:
Attention to detail, 3 years experience with Quickbooks or Quickbooks online. 3 years of admin experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
