Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various landscapes and gardens.

Duties

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
• Perform repairs on existing irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Dig trenches for new irrigation lines and ensure proper placement of pipes.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions with overall landscape design.
• Monitor weather conditions to adjust watering schedules accordingly.
• Provide recommendations for efficient water usage and landscape care practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices and garden maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
