Countertop Installation Technician
Maxwell Counters, Inc. is a custom countertop manufacturing company servicing Central IL since 1981 with stone, solid surface, and laminate countertops. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be a part of an engaging culture focused on LEAN thinking. This position requires direct customer contact, meaning good communication skills and a clean, neat appearance are necessary. We are looking for someone with the ability to install our products while striving for 100% customer satisfaction. In-home installation or construction experience is preferred but not required. Experience with a multitude of hand and power tools is needed.

***We invest heavily in providing the proper tools for handling heavy countertops. Each install truck has a No-Lift Cart, Omni Carts, carry clamps, and we utilize a mobile crane trailer to offload large pieces safely for installation.***

• Flexibility to work overtime as necessary'

Responsibilities

• Install and configure countertops & surfaces according to specifications and safety standards.
• Utilize power tools and other hand tools to ensure precise installations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to construction protocols.
• Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
• Continuously assess and improve installation processes for efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
