Maxwell, Hendry & Simmons, LLC is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and highly organized Front Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our downtown Fort Myers office. This full-time role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in customer interaction, and is comfortable managing a wide range of administrative responsibilities.
As the Front Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, vendors, and partners—on the phone, by email, and in person. You will also provide essential administrative support to our team of appraisers and office staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and warmth
- Coordinate scheduling and communicate appraisal appointments with clients
- Prepare and send proposals, appraisal reports, and invoices
- Enter new orders into our tracking system and assign them to appraisers
- Pull public records, tax data, and property maps to assist with appraisals
- Maintain appraiser documentation (E&O insurance, licenses, qualifications, etc.)
- Support internal systems such as SharePoint and client login credentials
- Keep sample reports organized and up-to-date for each appraiser
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational excellence
- Confidence speaking on the phone with clarity and professionalism
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred but Not Required
- Prior experience in real estate, financial services, or appraisal-related industries
- Familiarity with CRM or tracking software systems
- Associate’s degree or technical certification
