Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to identify and address barriers to academic success.
- Develop and implement intervention and prevention strategies to promote student well-being.
- Provide counseling and support services to students and their families.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements:
Education and Certifications:
- A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited college/university is required.
- A valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential is necessary for this position.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LMFT, LPCC) is also required.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of K-12 Social Work experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Previous experience working with at-risk youth is beneficial for this role.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred but not mandatory.
- A valid California driver's license is required for this position.
