We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Update and maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Identify and report inventory variances and investigate any discrepancies or issues.
- Process inventory transactions including receiving, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in year-end physical inventories.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipping.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment, with moderate to heavy physical activity.
- Occasional overtime may be required, depending on inventory demands.
- Exposure to warehouse machinery and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Experience with barcode scanners or RFID technology.
- Knowledge of inventory best practices and supply chain principles.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
