Position Overview
As an Associate Property Manager, you will oversee the lease-up of a brand-new apartment community, ensuring high occupancy rates and a seamless move-in experience. You will also play a key role in working with the builder to facilitate the turnover of the property to management. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure a smooth transition from construction to full operation.
After the lease-up phase, this role will transition into a dual position, where you will continue managing this community while also assisting other properties and teams throughout the Treasure Valley. Key Responsibilities
- Community Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and prospects, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Lease-Up & Builder Coordination: Oversee the lease-up process, market the community, and work closely with the builder to ensure a smooth transition from construction to property management.
- Leasing & Tours: Conduct property tours, guide prospective residents through the leasing process, and maintain accurate records.
- Move-In & Move-Out Management: Facilitate smooth resident transitions, including unit inspections, paperwork, and turnover coordination.
- Resident & Owner Relations: Respond promptly to inquiries, resolve concerns, and coordinate maintenance requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Customer Service & Engagement: Foster a positive community atmosphere, organize resident engagement initiatives, and enhance retention efforts.
- Multi-Property Support: Post lease-up, continue managing this property while floating to assist other communities and teams in the Treasure Valley.
- Regional Support: Assist the Regional Property Manager with financial reporting, compliance, and marketing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technology & Software: Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with AppFolio is a plus.
- Self-Motivated & Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently, anticipate issues, and implement solutions efficiently.
- Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, address resident concerns, and create a top-tier leasing experience.
- Professional Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication via phone, email, and text.
- Adaptability & Positive Attitude: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, remains composed under pressure, and collaborates well with a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $43,000 - $46,000 per year (DOE)

Schedule & Requirements
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekend availability as needed
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Property management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Lease-up property experience (Preferred)
- Multi-site management or floating between properties (Preferred)
- License & Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
- Real Estate License (Preferred)
- Location Requirement: Must be based in Boise, ID, or the surrounding Treasure Valley area.
