Job Summary : The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing innovative strategies that effectively position our products in the marketplace, providing vital tools and resources for our Marketing and Sales teams to successfully engage customers.This position leads initiatives to promote our products externally, enhancing brand awareness and driving lead generation, enabling local sales teams to articulate our product portfolio's unique value proposition effectively.The Product Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and supervises the Marketing Specialist.Essential Job Functions : The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following key functions at MaxxSouth Broadband : Developing cohesive strategies for the effective positioning of our products and services catered to residential customers and small to medium-sized businesses.Conducting in-depth competitive analyses to keep abreast of industry positioning, and sharing insights with the Marketing team and Product Management.Collaborating closely with Management and Sales to align product positioning and marketing materials with market needs.Acting as the subject matter expert on product messaging and strategies across various marketing channels including on-air, online, social media, blogs, and email communication.Regularly creating presentations and promotional collateral, in partnership with the Graphic Designer.Maintaining effective communication with all internal departments regarding marketing initiatives, incentives, and digital campaigns.Working with the Management Team to provide appropriate collateral for product launches, including the creation of training materials and gathering customer feedback.Designing and disseminating internal communications about product updates and enhancements.Partnering with Sales Training to conduct regular product portfolio training for new hires.Participating in sales calls throughout the year and engaging in customer research to understand customer priorities.Gathering market intelligence through collaboration with local marketing and sales teams to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing materials and campaigns.Recruiting and selecting new team members as necessary.Completing any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Marketing / Media as needed.Adhering to company policies and procedures, including EEO guidelines and safety regulations at all times.Job RequirementsEducation and Experience : High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications preferred.A minimum of 4 years of relevant marketing experience required.Proven professional background in managing marketing strategies is essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel is required.Basic understanding of residential cable, internet, and phone services is preferred.Other Skills & Requirements : Background record that meets company standards.Reliable transportation required at all times.Professional appearance and demeanor is essential.Physical Demands : May involve walking, kneeling, standing, sitting, driving, speaking, and using vision (close, distant, color, depth perception, ability to adjust focus). Light lifting of up to 20 lbs. may occasionally be required.Working Conditions : This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. Work hours may vary to accommodate departmental needs, and may occasionally include nights, weekends, or holidays.Work is conducted in a business office environment equipped with modern office technology including telephones, computers, copy machines, and fax equipment.Driving may be required, and regular Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks will be conducted.
