Job Description:
As an Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) in our Abington, MA location, you will be at the heart of our mission, providing essential support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to help them achieve their goals and dreams. With compassion, creativity, and a commitment to personalized care, you will engage in activities that promote skill-building and enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation.
  • Cultivate a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that fosters independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote skill growth and address behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in human services.
  • MAP certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Dependable, compassionate, and patient with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and unexpected situations.
