Specific responsibilities in the areas of supervision and management, training, evaluation, planning, development, and research are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Direct the staff providing our clients with their daily programming and individual services.
- Conducts meetings with prepared agendas, to ensure consistency in programming and to facilitate communications among staff across the program
- Assists with the development and implementation of consumer ISP/DHSP process and implementation to ensure treatment procedures are conducted as specified in each consumer's Individual Service Plan.
- Conducts all performance evaluations for direct reports at the day habilitation center.
- Monitor the use of budgeted staffing hours so not to exceed the budget.
- Ensures that all staff are in compliance with training as outlined in DPH regulations and DDS regulations.
- Schedules and attends all Parents Meetings and Human Rights Committee Meetings for area of responsibility, responding to any concerns as they arise.
- Provides written monthly feedback to Assistant Day Director and Developmental Specialists on attendance, direct observations, data on program reviews, checklists results, and input from other staff having contact with the Center.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- (6 years of experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.)
- 2 years of Supervisory experience.
- Experience with Adult Services preferred.
- Understanding of DDS and DPH regulations.
