If your answer is a resounding "yes," then we've got an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an ABA Instructor!   As an ABA Instructor at our May Center School in Chicopee or West Springfield, you'll be an essential part of our mission to support individuals ages 3-22 with Autism and developmental disabilities in the classroom in achieving their goals and aspirations. Join us as we make a meaningful difference, one day at a time!    Get Ready to Transform: Your Role in Action!    -Collaborative Teamwork: Partner closely with lead teachers to bring individualized educational plans (IEPs) to life, ensuring each student's unique needs are met.    -Direct Support: Provide hands-on assistance with personal care tasks and expertly manage behavioral crises, offering unwavering support to students during classroom activities to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.    -Positive Communication: Harness the power of positive behavior support strategies to cultivate essential social skills, enhance communication abilities, and promote independence among students.    -Cultivating a Supportive Atmosphere: Cultivate a warm, supportive atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to embrace their journey of learning and growth.    -Documentation and Reporting: Thoroughly document student progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring everyone is informed and involved in each student's educational journey.    Your Skills and Talents: A Winning Combination!    -Age requirement: Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for employment    -Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.  -Driver’s license: A valid and current U.S. driver’s license and 1 years of licensed driving experience required    -Availability: 40-hour work week, M-F, 8-hour days plus a 30-minute unpaid mid-day break. 1 mandatory morning meeting. In WSpfd it's at 7:40am, and in Chicopee it's at 7am or 7:40am. Punctuality is a must! We are all in this together!
