As a TA at our May Center School in Wilmington , you'll be an essential part of our mission to support individuals ages 3-21 with Autism and developmental disabilities in the classroom in achieving their goals and aspirations. In this role, you'll work directly with students exhibiting severe behaviors such as aggression and self-injury, using physical management and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety during crises. Your compassion and ability to implement intervention strategies will be critical in helping students navigate challenging moments while fostering a positive learning environment. You'll utilize the proven methods of Applied Behavior Analysis ( ABA ) to assist in their skill-building and behavioral growth.
