POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Support Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support the efficient operation of the company. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for stock, tracking shipments, and ensuring that the organization’s inventory is properly recorded and accounted for. The Inventory Support Specialist works closely with various departments to ensure that all inventory-related processes are streamlined and effective.

Essential Functions:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams.
- Input inventory data into the inventory management system with accuracy.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for management.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.
- Prepare and pack items for shipment as needed.
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the inventory and operations teams to improve inventory management practices.
- Recommend methods to optimize storage, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Support inventory audits and assist with regulatory compliance.
- Ensure inventory handling follows safety and quality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience receiving raw materials into the warehouse.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong cycle counting and inventory background.
- Previous familiarity with ERP and WMS.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform detailed and accurate data entry.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receiving warehouse environment.
