What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Maya Hotels?
Maya is now accepting applications for spring and summer host positions, both full time and part time. Start date will be sometime between late March and mid April, WEATHER DEPENDENT.*
Maya is a family owned and operated latin concept in Oak Park. Home to one of the biggest patios in Chicagoland, Maya has become a neighborhood institution since opening in 2007. With an employee-centric focus, our goal is to build a team of people as passionate about people as we are. We want people that actually enjoy hosting. We want people that are looking for a restaurant that provides genuinely warm, friendly, approachable, and personable experiences both to their guests AND to their staff. We want people that need to work in a positive, team-driven, hard-working environment. We want people that truly care about the guest, about each other, and about building the business. And we need people with both exceptional work ethic and a bright personality. A good sense of humor is encouraged and appreciated.

You must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday (brunch and/or dinner shift). We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays.
