Job Title: Environmental Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (30 minutes northwest of downtown)
Travel: Up to 50% across the U.S.

About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Environmental Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts for a publicly held heavy manufacturing company. This role focuses on air quality compliance, major source permitting, and regulatory reporting across industrial business segments in the United States. Reporting to the VP of Environmental, the ideal candidate will have experience in industrial manufacturing industries such as metals, automotive, or steel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee regulatory compliance for multiple industrial manufacturing sites across the U.S.
- Lead major air source permitting and reporting, including Title V compliance.
- Guide facilities through the permitting process and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compliance testing, including RATA testing (glass, paints, kilns, dryers).
- Manage regulatory reporting, including EPCRA TRI and Tier II.
- Ensure compliance with solid and hazardous waste regulations at state and federal levels.
- Oversee DMR water submittals, ensuring compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Work closely with plant managers and environmental teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in environmental compliance within an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Experience in air permitting (Title V, major source permitting).
- Proficiency in compliance reporting and regulatory submissions.
- Background in hazardous waste management and water compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across multiple sites.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the U.S..
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
