Job Duties

• Develop SOPs, Control Plans, and other documentation in line with TS16949 compliance.
• Create new product manufacturing specifications, equipment processes, and hardware.
• Conduct cost justifications for new product development.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians for the successful launch of new products.
• Provide technical leadership to assigned product lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality and process improvement issues.
• Implement process improvements to reduce scrap/waste.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager in accordance with Success Factors/Job Competencies Document.

Qualifications: Perform all necessary duties under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager to support automotive fuel injector manufacturing efforts. The role involves accountability for developing, measuring, and maintaining product and process procedures.

Experience Required

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier or OEM.
• Familiarity with ISO or QS systems.
• Project management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Automotive engineering experience.
• Training in root cause analysis/problem solving (e.g., Shainin, Six Sigma).
