Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving staff to ensure efficient service.
- Set up dining areas, including arranging tables, linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Present the menu to guests and assist them in making food and beverage selections.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train, mentor, and support new serving staff, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Uphold and enforce all food and beverage regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a server in an upscale restaurant or country club.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience supervising a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
- Familiarity with Jonas software or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Relevant training or certification in food and beverage service.
