Currently we are recruiting for a CMM Operator/Programmer. This position will provide the successful candidates with the chance to apply skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The CMM Operator/Programmer is primarily responsible for running CMM programs based on CAD data or prints supplied by the customer and performing dimensional studies based on that data. The CMM Operator has the authority to coordinate requests for layout inspection to ensure that results are provided to the appropriate parties in a timely manner to prevent project or engineering change scheduling delays.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Represent Mayco International to the customer’s Quality Assurance function, attending customer required meetings and reporting open issues or concerns in a timely manner and responding when required with documented corrective action
- Assist in fulfilling dimensional study requirements for PPAP submissions (GR&Rs, Capability studies, Layouts, etc.)
- CMM Operator 90% work load/CMM Programmer 10% work load
- Dedication to Quality Management Systems
- Perform dimensional studies (when applicable) as defined in the quality plan and/or documented procedures and reporting statistical data to appropriate party
- Maintain documented procedures to control calibrate and maintain, the CMM (and its software)
- Directly Supervise and/or perform the following:
- Maintain appearance and functionality of CMM
- Maintenance of CMM Statistical software files
- Any other job deemed necessary by Department head(s)
- Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures
- Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and assignments as required
- ISO 14001 awareness training.
- GD&T Blueprint reading
- Use of PCMIS software
- Gage repeatability studies
EDUCACTION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of previous CMM operation experience is strongly preferred
- Associates or technical degree is preferred
- Minimum one year - CMM operation – PC-DMIS software
- Minimum one year - Metrology and its applications
- Minimum one year - Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility
- Strong computer programming skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of DataPage Plus/ DataView CMM reporting software

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
