Mold Setter

Currently we are looking for a 3rd Shift Mold Setter. This position will provide the successful candidates with the chance to apply skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment.

Position Summary:

3rd Shift Mold Setter:

· Performing mold/die changes as scheduled in 500–3300-ton injection molding presses

· Responsible for all mold changes done per the production schedule and all emergency mold changes.

• Responsible for the proper set-up of all molds and related functions such as watering of the mold, knockout, hot runner set-up, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Set parameters of the molding press to the process verification sheet if applicable.
• Repair any fluid or air leaks relating to the mold.
• Responsible for the pulling and resetting of all mold halves, specifically for the purpose of mold repair.
• Participate and complete WCM Project assignments.
• Responsible for the loading and unloading of all mold carrying trucks.
• Responsible for the installation and removal of all auxiliary equipment from the molding floor.
• Maintain the orderly appearance of the mold storage area.
• Responsible for the orderly appearance of all mold-setting supplies including the removal of all supplies from the molding machine and immediate area.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted in accordance to the process
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.).
• Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Requirements:

· Must have a High School Diploma or GED

· 1-2 years of mold setting experience in Plastic Injection Molding

· Must have reliable transportation and an acceptable attendance record

· Possess good mechanical aptitude

· Ability to communicate effectively and work independently

· Must be a dedicated team player and willing to learn new processes

· Ability to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, hoists, cranes, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.30 per hour
