Position Overview :

The Painter I position is an introduction to painting aircraft parts. You will be cleaning or prepping surfaces of parts and getting familiar with our paint processes. You will be responsible for setting up the equipment used to apply paint. All paint processes will be performed in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Work will be done under close supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Learn & understanding practical painting processes and procedures
• Read and understand traveler instructions and special notes
• Learning basic knowledge on prepping parts including sanding, flipping, and racking parts, this will include various sizes, lengths, shapes, and weights
• Learn mixing portions of paint. (i.e., thinners, polyurethane)
• Familiarization of paint guns, equipment & tooling
• Count and record number of pieces being painted
• Adheres to company policies, quality procedures and safety standards

Working Conditions :

stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended

periods of time & occasionally lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. & occasionally up to 50

lbs.

Shift Schedules :

1st shift : 6 : 45am - 3 : 00pm

2nd Shift : 2 : 45pm - 11 : 00pm

3rd Shift : 10 : 45pm - 7 : 00am
