Mayer Brothers Apple Products is looking to hire an experienced maintenance professional for first shift as a “Building and Grounds Employee” for the following duties:
- Perform general facility maintenance including light electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, carpentry, drywall, painting and mechanical equipment repairs.
- Conduct grounds keeping and landscaping duties.
- Perform snow removal, and sanding / salting duties.
- Respond to maintenance requests submitted by management team.
- Assess supplies & equipment as needed.
- Perform general maintenance and troubleshooting on fork trucks and yard equipment.
The incumbent must possess the following:
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to follow written instruction and troubleshooting guides.
- Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time.
- Must have automobile & NYS driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to make routine repairs & adjustments to a variety of mechanical equipment.
- Hydraulic Loading Docks
- Garage Doors
- Ability to organize, schedule & arrange priorities.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Heavy equipment experience is a must.
- (No certification is required, just familiarity with forklifts and skid steers)
- Must be able to work at height. IE. Comfortable on ladders, and Aerial Lift Platforms.(With appropriate fall protection)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
