Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Acumatica Manufacturing Implementation Consultant at Mayer Group ERP. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing, consulting, and implementing software projects.
Core Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, accounting, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience:
- - 2–5 years of Acumatica software experience.
- - 5–7 years of ERP implementation experience, with manufacturing-specific expertise.
- Hands-on involvement in multiple end-to-end Acumatica implementations, including financials, distribution, and manufacturing modules.
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Acumatica Modules:
- - Mandatory: Financials, Manufacturing, Distribution.
- - Preferred: Project Accounting, Field Service, CRM.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Business process optimization for manufacturing workflows (e.g., demand planning, inventory management).
- Configuration, implementation and post-live support for manufacturing clients.
Certifications
- Required: Acumatica Certified Business Consultant (within 30–60 days of hire).
- Specializations: Manufacturing and Distribution Consultant certifications (typically within 60 days).
Soft Skills
- Communication: Ability to train clients, lead workshops, and collaborate with technical teams.
- Project Management: Prioritization of tasks, timeline adherence, and documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting system issues and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Logistical Requirements
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% for onsite client work.
- Remote Work: Ability to manage engagements remotely with occasional on-site presence.
Additional Preferences
- Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., eCommerce, Container Tracking, etc.).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office.
- Manufacturing consultants are expected to act as product advocates, staying updated on Acumatica’s latest features and industry trends.
