Overview :

Mayfair Animal Hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growing team in quaint Wauwatosa, WI. Part and Full-time positions are available.

Are you a motivated, experienced veterinarian with a passion for urgent care?

solve complex, time-sensitive cases without the stress and overnight schedule that 24 hour ERs require?
practice the best urgent care medicine in a brand-new facility that boasts the latest diagnostic and treatment equipment?
work with a talented and compassionate team, including highly-trained CVTs, support staff and a new medical director with years of associate veterinarian experience at this practice?

Urgent Care Qualifications / Requirements :

Licensed Wisconsin Veterinarian (active and clear)

Urgent Care and / or Emergency Care experience

Surgery skills (laceration repair & wound management, abdominal explore, pyometra), mentorship available

Positive team player attitude and ability to attend regular meetings

Power scheduling allows our dedicated wellness team to treat pet patients thoroughly and efficiently with help from our well-trained support staff

We offer the ability to work a split schedule between general practice and urgent care, if desired

Our veterinarians have access to multiple specialists within the network, including ultrasound services 3-4 times a month

Mayfair is fully equipped with all the bells and whistles to support you as you practice exemplary veterinary medicine, including a full in-house lab, imaging and Scribenote (an AI-based medical records tool) to make charting a breeze
