Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Admissions to join our team!


Position Overview

As the Director of Admissions, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the facility. You will oversee and manage the entire admissions process, from client inquiries to family and referral coordination. Your leadership and strategic approach will help meet our facility's census goals, enhance our public image, and ensure a seamless experience for potential residents and their families. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will also contribute to the marketing and overall success of the facility.


Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Client Coordination
  • Respond to inquiries promptly, ensuring a high priority is placed on referrals, inquiries, and walk-ins.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to streamline client flow, ensuring efficient and seamless admissions processes.
  • Coordinate tours, applications, and sales processes with potential clients, families, and referral sources.
  • Facilitate an immediate introduction to the nursing staff on the unit for new admissions and families.
  • Communicate admission criteria clearly to all referral sources, families, and clients.
Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Initiate and maintain regular communication with referral sources to foster ongoing partnerships and improve client flow.
  • Coordinate and participate in facility presentations to hospitals and physicians, promoting the facility's services.
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics on potential client flow, pending inquiries, denials, hospital discharges, and marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and report on census goals, ensuring alignment with facility targets and overall success.
Marketing & Public Image
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that increase visibility and generate leads.
  • Ensure the facility's image remains positive, both in the community and within the healthcare industry.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in admissions or marketing within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and act with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals.
  • Computer proficient, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to adapt to new software systems.
