Porter Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team at Green Oaks Apartments. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment complex, as well as assisting with various maintenance tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including hallways, lobby, and parking lot
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of trash properly
- Assist maintenance team with repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
Requirements:
- Prior experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
