What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Mayfair Village Retirement Center?
Mayfair Village Retirement Community is an established, high end Senior Living Community that takes great pride in the quality care we give to our seniors 24/7/365. Mayfair is seeking a mature, responsible, dependable Maintenance Supervisor to join the Maintenance Team to help us keep our standards and quality of service high.
General Maintenance Duties (including but not limited to):
- Complete and turn in work orders in a timely manner
- Basic plumbing (including but not limited to) leaky faucets, toilet repair, clogged pipes
- Minor HVAC repair/maintenance: changing filters, clearing condensation lines and minor repairs
- Minor appliance repairs: refrigerators, ovens, stoves
- Repair drywall on as needed basis
- Paint walls and/or woodwork on as needed basis
- Walk premises to ensure everything is in working order
- Able to lift at least 50#
- Answer Med Calls
- Will be on rotating evenings and weekends for emergencies
Job Skills:
- 3-5 years experience
- Need to have great communication skills
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience
- Boiler/chiller system experience preferred
- Proficiency with drywall repairs preferred
- Proficiency with painting walls, ceilings and wood work preferred
Job Requirements:
- Must have dependable means of transportation
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
