Education/Experience
- High School graduate required; College degree preferred.
- 7 or more years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience within neurology practice preferred.
- CRCR/CPC or other relevant certification preferred
- The ability to develop, motivate, and guide team members.
- Practical knowledge of neurosurgical procedures and medical office processes.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced
- environment.

- Supervise and provide day-to-day directions to assigned work teams withinthe Revenue Cycle Management department.
- Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness geared towards ensuring maximum reimbursement and compliance.
- Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.
- Independently oversee and direct recruiting needs, hiring decisions, associate coaching/development, corrective action and time-keeping approvals.
- Provide direct line supervision and day-to-day direction to assigned work team(s).
- Independently conduct performance reviews for assigned work team, and address/document performance issues in a timely manner.
- Function when needed, for associate absences (PTO, lunch, leave of absence, etc.) Includes job responsibilities for assigned Revenue Cycle/Hospital Services positions.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage in areas of responsibility. Develop and maintain work schedules.
- Ensure the effective orientation and training of new associates within the work team to promote associate retention.
- Monitor and audit the quality and competency of the work team.
- Provide input to Senior Director, RCM to assist with decision-making regarding department functions.
- Recommend policies and procedures for work teams for short-term and long-term planning purposes with an emphasis on a team approach.
- Deal with administrative issues and maintain adequate supplies.
- Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
