What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mini-Bus Driver/Escort/CNA position at Mayfield Care Center?
LTC facility is seeking a full-time Mini-bus driver/Escort/CNA, Monday-Friday, hours may vary so must have flexibility. The applicant must have a clean driving record, background check, and good customer service skills. We prefer to have nursing home experience in some capacity and someone who works well with elderly and psychiatric population.
As a Driver/ Escort/CNA you will drive and assist our residents to and from medical appointments in and around the community. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by accompanying residents on appointments, verifying methods of transport, ensuring residents are properly identified before transport and have any necessary equipment and supplies and assisting residents in and out of vehicles as well as carrying resident items. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid, unencumbered State of Illinois Nursing Assistant Certification (C.N.A.).
