Mayfield Ice Cream, located in Birmingham, Alabama, has an immediate need for a TEMPORARY HR Specialist through May 2025. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide administrative assistance to the existing HR team including screening, scheduling and onboarding frontline, hourly candidates. Other tasks or projects may be assigned as needed.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Your personal commitment to positively contribute to a Culture of Excellence
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Strong administrative skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
- HR and / or recruitng experience preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking and / or recruiting management systems (i.e. ADPRM) or other sales, customer, or process tracking / management software required
- Professional verbal and written communication skills required
- Attention to detail and organization skills required
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
