Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Person to join our team as a Maintenance Technician II. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Apartment complex maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and make repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories masonry, painting, and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Troubleshoot and complete assigned service request and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
- Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready in accordance to company standards.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Perform maintenance service orders associated with the preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspection and annual unit inspections.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management activities.
- Experience
- Proven experience in apartment property maintenance.
- Strong background in plumbing and painting preferred.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and management.
- Demonstrated customer service skills to interact positively with internal teams and tenants.
- Some computer experience is a plus.
- Experience using plumbing snakes and carpentry tools.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.79 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
