2nd Shift Machine Operator

Deerfield Packaging is looking to employ self-motivated, hardworking individuals to operate its in-house Alloyd machine to seal tool packaging.

Job Characteristics

• Safe set up and operation of Alloyd machine
  • Manage temperature controls per product specifications
  • Count and box packaged tools
  • Prepare and organize finished product for warehouse staff
  • Selection and installation of correct card hopper, blister tray and hot plate
• Read and interpret shop packs
• Able to use electric/manual lifts and pallet jacks to transport raw and finished materials
• Read scales with narrow tolerances for error to ensure the correct amount of product is sent to customers
• Stay ahead of work load by identifying products running low; candidates are expected to keep up with customer demands under limited oversight

Required Education/Experience

•  High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education/Experience

• 1 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/industrial facility
