Position Summary
The House Supervisor assumes responsibility for complete facility operations during the assigned shift. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care patients.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the complete facility operations during the assigned shift
- Supervise all activities of the nursing staff on the assigned shift
- Evaluate patients/milieu activity each shift, report high acuity to CNO
- Week 1 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday - 7a - 7p, Thursday 11a - 7p
- Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Friday - 7a - 7p

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in nursing management; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience progressive nursing leadership experience. Experience in staff education and education concepts, practices and procedures and 24 hour shift staffing experience.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and training in appropriate use of CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting in a restraining process.
