Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and preventative maintenance
- Take appropriate precautions ensuring proper lock out and tag out procedures are done when working on equipment
- Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk management plans, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred
Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Must have experience in the area of building maintenance, basic mechanical engineering, painting/wall repair, electrical, carpentry and plumbing. Basic computer knowledge of hardware/software and peripherals as well as skills in MS Office applications preferred.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license.
