Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at Maymead, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites to ensure the successful completion of paving and concrete projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt pavers, dump trucks, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute paving and concrete installation projects according to specifications.
- Monitor equipment operations during projects to identify any issues or necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
