Maynard Incorporated in Fayetteville, AR is looking for a hard-working Router to contribute to the success of a thriving manufacturing company. Our operators work closely with multiple departments (such as engineering, programming, planning, quality, etc.) to produce high-quality components, so communication skills and teamwork are essential. Our employees must also be teachable to learn the internal processes and systems utilized by our company. Our company is always in pursuit of better methods and processes to deliver parts on-time and under budget, and we’re searching for a candidate who shares a passion for continual improvement and the reward of turning a solid block of raw material into a high-quality functional machined component.
Knowledge and Qualifications Required
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and repeatably
- Ability to identify, diagnose, and correct when problems arise to maximize productivity
- Proficiency in basic math
- Mechanically minded
- Communication skills and teamwork for working across departments to achieve a common goal
- Teachability
- High attention to detail
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement processes and procedures to eliminate non-conforming parts and waste.
- Motivated to learn, grow, and succeed
