Maynard Incorporated in Wichita, KS, is seeking a diligent, skilled, and detail-oriented Tube Bender to contribute to the success of a thriving manufacturing company. Our Tube Benders play a critical role in forming and bending raw materials into aviation and commercial components that meet precise customer specifications. This role involves using tubing and pipe to create parts per customer prints, utilizing proper tooling, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all work. Knowledge and Qualifications Required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Knowledge and understanding of the various tube bending tools and machines.
- Know and understand the capacity and functions of each tube bending machine.
- Ability to program and adjust machines.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions as necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
