About The Role
Environmental Services’ mission is to maintain a clean, safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout Mayo Clinic. Whether cleaning patient rooms or performing floor maintenance, you will discover a culture of teamwork, diversity, and mutual respect. Qualifications
Must be 18 years old. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/patient needs.
Additional Qualifications
High School Degree or G.E.D preferred. Customer Service experience preferred. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.

Compensation Detail
$18.11 - $24.48 / hour. Evening shift differential of $1.35 / hr. would also be applicable for all weekday evening shifts.

Responsibilities Include
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, laboratories, offices, restrooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned.
- Replenishing supplies, removing waste, and supporting sustainability efforts by transporting recyclables to identified pick up points.
- Collaborating with others, using organizational and time management skills, and communicating effectively.
- Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Using industry-leading technology and equipment to ensure safety and infection control.
- Other duties as assigned.
