Mill Operator

Responsibilities:
· Performs mill operations
· Operates rip, band, and chop saws; Cross-trains to off-bear and operate CNC routers
· Performs sub-assembly; Installs connecting components
· Removes wood waste in collection bins and loads into dump truck
· Performs preventive maintenance work, blade replacement, etc. on assigned equipment
· Brings in raw lumber bundles (may require use of forklift)
· Performs miscellaneous duties in other areas as assigned
· Controls waste of supplies
· Moderate to Extreme physical effort required
· Must be able to reposition up to 150 pounds, with reasonable accommodation
· Uses routers, hammers, saws and other woodworking and cutting material
· Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility for long periods
Qualifications:
Prefer knowledge of wood-working machinery, such as saws and CNC routers
Salary Range:
$11.11-$12.21 per hour
Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools
