Starting Salary: This is a stipend position. Assistant Coach will be placed within the salary range based upon experience and credentials.
Description: The assistant coach shall be responsible for helping in planning, managing and directing the JH and HS Track program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Assisting with coaching the JH/HS track teams.
- Assisting all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact days
- Marketing and promoting the Track program.
- Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes.
- Helping to managing a fiscally sound budget.
- Helping with monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.
