Overview
The Pricing Manager position will support our sales, sales admin, finance and customer service teams with ERP Master Price List (MPL) management, developing standard work / SOP, system price loading, Customer contract vs MEC pricing exception mgmt., Continuous Improvement / Business Process Automation, value-pricing analysis and guidance, and margin validation. This position will own “all processes for price administration and management” for all MEC ERP systems. This position will require strong knowledge of MS excel, Power BI, ERP knowledge, operations / lead experience and analytic skills.
Responsibilities
Price load all quotes and master price lists into Quote and ERP systems and support validation against customer contracts for New Customers, NPI, Part Revisions, Raw Material Metal Market Agreements and Account Reviews.
Automate and validate MPL pricing on open sales orders in ERP systems per pricing implementation schedule and strategy.
Understand, define and maintain ERP Master Price List (MPL) and ERP Price Admin Rules. Establish standard price list administration SOPs across all ERP systems and improve efficiency and price accuracy to align to customer contract pricing, supplier codes and purchasing decision organizations
Ensure part price alignment between ERP price lists and corporate Cost Estimating software and establish SOP and system / processes
Working with IT and developing systems / processes to query and control prices in ERP systems with reports to make visible daily price changes with reason codes / justification, pareto price errors and understand and take RCCA corrections.
Document retention process for all customer blanket contracts along with SKU and price verification / changes if required.
Collaborate with our Finance and Accounts Receivable teams on payment issues related to price discrepancies.
Trains price admin on new pricing procedures and processes as required or needed.
Integrate and automate corporate price administration with IT (CPQ, Bot RPA, etc) to improve efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Five years of experience in business analysis, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
