Production Operator- Weekend Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team on a weekend shift. This role involves operating basic machinery, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Loading and unloading materials into machinery.
- Monitoring machine operations and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Performing routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety and company policies.
- Assisting in troubleshooting machine issues.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Computer skills including ERP systems.
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/moving average weight material.
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and/or reaching over a full work shift.
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift.
- May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift.
