Job Title: Baker (Part-time)
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Hiring Range: $16.04 - $19.25 per hour, to commensurate with experience
Benefits: This is a non-benefitted position.

Position Information: Mayville State University is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and delight our customers.
Key Competencies:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate baked products using glazes, icings, and other toppings
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, and order new stock as needed
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Interact with customers to take special orders and answer questions about ingredients
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus
